51 Lincoln Celebrates Soft-Shell Crab Season With Special Menu and Contest

Jeff Fournier, chef and owner of of 51 Lincoln in Newton Highlands, is celebrating soft-shell crab season in full force by hosting a contest for the best soft-shell ideas or recipes, as well as preparing a special menu. He's offering the seasonal treat 30 ways - a new dish for each day of the month of May, leaving the last day, May 31, to feature the winning soft-shell crab dish from the public. (Could be you!)

Last night it was spicy soft-shell crab with scallion pancakes, housemade hoisin and scallion kimchi. Tonight, it’s Parmesan-dredged soft-shell crab fra diavolo with housemade fettucine; Friday it’s crispy soft shells with New England-style Johnny cake, green onion salsa and crema Mexican.
