Wine Time: Two Spring Tasting Events For The Liquid Set

It's tasting event season, and two vino-centric publications are making sure wine lovers aren't being left out (the hungry can get a primer on the walk around events here). On May 1, Wine and Spirits magazine will host a shindig dubbed Top of the List at The Metropolitan Pavilion that promises pours of more than 200 labels, along with bites from restaurants like SakaMai, Murray's Cheese Bar and L'Apicio. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and costs $75 per person, you can get tickets here.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with the Red and White bash, a Belle Epoque-inspired festival at Good Units in the Hudson Hotel on May 9. Guests are encouraged to deck themselves out in the namesake colors for the party, which runs from 7 to 10 PM and will feature tunes from Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra. The $85 tickets include tons of vino, natch, you can get more info and purchase them here.
