When Hunger Calls at 2 AM, Answer It With Cookies

Sometimes a cookie craving hits and the only way to resolve it is with, well, cookies. Whether that craving hits in the middle of the day or the middle of the night, Insomnia Cookies can satiate it with its delivery service. The cookie chain, with locations (mostly at college campuses) around the country, recently opened its first Chicago location in Lincoln Park. Cookies come in two varieties - traditional and jumbo deluxe - with flavors ranging from chocolate chip to s’mores, and can be ordered individually or by the dozen. There is a $6 minimum for delivery. The delivery region extends north to Belmont Ave., east to Lake Michigan, south to Armitage Ave. and west to Southport Ave.

Want those cookies to be guilt-free? Through Friday, Insomnia Cookies will donate a portion of all online sales to The Red Cross to aid the victims of the Boston Marathon tragedy.
