Trois Mec Tickets, Now on Craigslist

Ludo, Jon, Vinny = Trois Mec
By now you've heard that the only way to get a seat at Trois Mec - Ludovic Lefebvre, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo's haute new Highland Avenue hideaway (the former Raffallo's Pizza sign is the only signage you'll see) - is by purchasing "tickets" ahead of time, like you would for Coachella or any good rock 'n' roll show. And just like a show, the tickets are selling out as soon as they become available, which happens to be every Friday morning at 8 AM. But don't fret: Also like any sold-out show, the chance that you'll find tickets on Craigslist is pretty good.

According to the Trois Mec website, you can transfer or give away your tickets if you can't use them, and you can even do it via their own system. But you know there will be scalpers out there. So far, we've seen a few tickets go up on Craigslist, mostly for face-value, except for one person who uses the old $1 hook to make you click, and asks you to make "an offer." Yeah, buddy, how about a dollar?

Once things heat up, we wonder how long that honesty will last or if prices will go up exponentially. In the FAQ section of the website, there are warnings: "Anyone who purchases a ticket from another patron should take care to ensure that they have received a formal transfer of the ticket through the restaurant's official website. Any tickets purchased on the secondary market are at the purchaser's risk. We cannot accept responsibility for forgeries or misrepresentations."

So it begs the question: Would you buy a Trois Mec ticket above face-value from a scalper?
