Tavern Road in Fort Point Channel is hosting a late-night pig roast tonight, April 18 at 11 PM. For $20, you’ll get snacks, plenty of pork and access to a cash bar. Proceeds will go to onefundboston.org (617-790-0808).
In addition, on Sunday, April 21, The Sons of Italy in Watertown will host a “Our Hearts Are With Boston" benefit. The $15 cover includes eats from Not Your Average Joe, Bertucci’s, and Miller Ale House, according to a boston.com calendar listing. There will be a cash bar, DJ, and raffles (click here for more information).
More than 75 restaurants pulled together last night to support those affected by the Boston Marathon tragedy. At some places, like Tryst in Arlington, it was “standing room only,” according to one diner. A portion of their sales went to onefundboston.org, the fund that supports the families affected by the bombings at the finish line.
