Sue Torres Makes Tweaks to Sueños For 10-Year Anniversary

Chilaquiles for brunch
Sue Torres' Chelsea eatery Sueños is turning 10 this year, and we have news of a slight spruce up the eatery is undertaking in time for its decade anniversary (and just in time for our Mexican Food Week). The chef, who played a big role in introducing NYC diners to higher-end, progressive Mexican, is adding a selection of Mexican barbecue to the menu. A mesquite smoker and a plancha have been added to the kitchen, so now you can expect bites like grilled corn on the cob and tacos al pastor.

The new dishes can be enjoyed with an expanded selection of Mexican spirits, there are now 19 mezcals and over 40 tequilas. The space got a paint job and this weekend marks the first ever brunch service, which will be on offer from noon to 3 PM going forward, with a more limited brunch selection - aka no egg dishes - being served from 3-5 PM (212-243-1333).
