Parker & Quinn Solidifies 2013's Restaurant Name Trend
1. Boulton & Watt - a steam-punk themed East Village eatery
2. Rogue & Canon - a happening bar from the owners of Jimmy on West Houston
3. Grape & Vine - the spankin' new spot in the West Village's Jade Hotel
4. Pearl & Ash - which offers refined small plates from chef Richard Kuo on The Bowery
If that wasn't enough to convince you, the latest double-named entry is Parker & Quinn, which is set to launch on May 1 in the Fashion District's Refinery Hotel, which is housed in a former hat factory. They venue will have a prohibition-vibe, with carrara bar tops from the '20s and a hidden back entryway that will take you through the venue's bustling kitchen (there will also be an normal door on 39th).
Chef Jeffrey Forrest is at the helm in the kitchen while Alex Ott will be doing the cocktails - in addition to normal cocktails, there will be upscale bottle service with lockers to store your hooch so you can sip on multiple visits. Expect an opening on May 1 (63 W. 39th St.).
