Outdoor Patio and New Dining Room Launch at The Mildred Next Week

Spring will surely grace us with its presence soon, and the brand new patio at The Mildred will be the perfect place to take advantage. The brick-lined deck will offer seating on Eighth Street right in front of the wide garden boxes, something the spot’s previous occupants - James - never had. For the first month the outdoors seats will be BYO, until the extension of the liquor license is approved and the full bar menu becomes available.

There’s no exact date for the patio launch, which will have 10-12 seats (plus water bowls for those who bring their fuzzy pals along), but mark down next Friday, April 12 - that’s when the renovated dining room officially opens.

Head to Bella Vista on that night or afterwards to check it out, but don’t go on Thursday, April 18 - that evening, chef Michael Santoro will be taking his talents to the James Beard House in NYC. The menu includes tastes of spring like morels, rabbit, ramps, lamb, rhubarb and more, check out the full list below.
