Austin Food & Wine Festival, and some of it wasn’t so positive. Eater Austin asked if it was “kind of a shit show," and the consensus was that the tickets were steep and the perks few (at least for the plebians without VIP passes). Also noted was the lack of local talent in lieu of national celebrities.Last year after the adrenaline rush, folks had plenty to say about the
C3, which puts on the festival, promised to do better, changing the lineup and the ticket prices as well as the location (this year, as you know, it was in Butler Park, to avoid dusty Auditorium Shores).
