More NYC Outdoor Dining Options Sprout Up For Spring

It's coming....
Yesterday, the weather was warm and sunny and alfresco cafes started to appear at places like Boulud Sud and L'Apicio. Today it's supposed to be just as warm and there are more outdoor options are gearing up to launch and take advantage of the weather. You'll have to wait until next Tuesday to chill out on The Beach at the Dream Downtown, which is set to debut Mexican-inspired menu from chef Manuel Trevio. Dishes like ceviche and tacos can be enjoyed poolside and this year guests can cool down with a menu of icy treats from Kelvin Natural Slush Co., which will be available in natural and spiked varieties.

Over in the West Village, new mini-burger joint Slide is rolling out brunch this weekend and will feature dishes like the aptly named Hangover sliders, which come topped with smoked bacon, avocado, a quail egg, pepper jack cheese and sriracha aioli. You can enjoy the meal (served from noon to 4 PM) in the 18-seat backyard garden, which comes equipped with a waterfall (no swimming, please).
