Melibea Brings a Mix of Mediterranean Flavors to the West Village

Chef Jesús Núñez's Melibea will open officially today (it's been soft open for a week) next to his already hot West Village tapas spot, Barraca. Melibea is part of a bi-level space whose ground floor 80-seat dining space will offer a menu influenced by a variety of Mediterranean cuisines. Expect dishes like wild boar goulash, "the study of the tomato" and foie terrine. An additional 80-seat eatery called Duende will debut later this spring in the underground space below Melibea. A six-person chef's table called Canvas will also open later this year as well. Melibea is open seven days a week for dinner only right now, check out the full menu below.
