Manon Will Open in Meatpacking on May 1

Salmon with daikon, wakame and miso
Recently opened Sugar Factory surely has an unbreakable Monopoly on diners looking for 36 ounce goblets full of lollipops and coconut vodka, but for everyone else there's Manon, a large new restaurant that's getting ready to open next Wednesday. The three floor space will feature a menu by Tae Strain (Public) and a cocktail program was designed by mixologist Aaron Polsky, who formerly was behind the bar at well-respected Amor y Amargo.

The 5,800 square foot space has the main dining room on the third floor, a bar on street level (as we all know, people like to drink it up in this hood) and additional seating on a center mezzanine. There's exposed brick and unfinished ironwork along with a three-story Venetian mirror (talk about see and be seen). The restaurant will cater to the late night with DJs and a club vibe, but this is the Meatpacking District, so of course you knew that already. Check out the menu below and stay tuned for the debut at 407 West 14th St. (212-596-7255).
