|Celebrate spring at Chaya DTLA|
Downtown LA might not be Washington D.C., but you can still enjoy the first cherry blossoms of spring at Chaya. The outdoor patio at the Tk restaurant is decorated with sweeping boughs of cherry blossoms in honor of the 3,000 cherry trees that Tokyo gifted our nation over 100 years ago. During the festival (today through April 17), enjoy the springtime decor while noshing on a special menu with things like Japanese eggplant baba ganoush, duck confit spring rolls, and cherry bellinis with sorbet (525 S. Flower St.; 213-236-9577).

Bibigo celebrates the first anniversary of its third Korean quick-serve restaurant today. What that means is half-off signature bibimbap dishes for lunch (11:30 AM-2:30 PM) at the Beverly Hills, Westwood and Century City locations. A percentage of sales will also go to local police departments, fire departments and elementary schools where the restaurants operate.
