Imagine a barrel of beer, now multiply that by 1.7 million. That is how much beer the new Lagunitas brewery is planning to roll out yearly at its new Chicago location. The brewery, located on 18th street near Rockwell Ave., will feature a 10,000-square-foot taproom with windows looking into the brewery. In addition to serving Lagunitas’ signature beers such as Little Sumpin’ Supmin’, Pils and IPA; they will also offer specialty and seasonal brews on tap. It will be the largest in Chicago, trumping Half Acre’s production by about 1.4 million barrels, according to the Chicago Tribune. Today, the company tweeted a photo of the facility that is scheduled to open in June.
