|Italian summer eats at Oliverio|
Tonight, April 25, check out Sorprendente, a first taste of summer at the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the terrace doubles as an Italian market for sampling pastas and pizzas with black truffles, salumi and cheeses, and Italian wines. At Oliverio, chef Mirko Paderno will serve spaghetti with lamb ragu, seafood ravioli and grilled lamb, sausages and suckling pig, all family-style. There's plenty to keep your thirst at bay on Saturday, April 27: The LADrinks2Boston specials all over town. A beer and wine fest in Atwater Village. And in Pasadena, Everson Royce celebrates its first anniversary with complimentary snacks from Little Flower and the Heirloom LA and Let's Be Frank trucks, plus $3 wines by the glass from noon-5 PM (155 N. Don't forget the Taste of the Eastside at Barnsdall Art Park, where you can get bites from some of the best restaurants around Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Highland Park and beyond.
