Here's One Way Guy Fieri Attracts a Crowd at Pebble Beach

Just get 'em drunk! We're not sure if that's Guy Fieri's plan, but at his cooking demo at Pebble Beach Food & Wine yesterday afternoon, he had buckets - literally - of some fruity spiked concoction that relaxed the crowd and their grip on their wallets. While he made roasted goat gyros topped with slaw and talked about how everyone should eat fresh, raw, wholesome foods (yes, he of Flavortown), some people even went up to the vat of jungle juice and dipped their cups right in for seconds.

By the end of his session, when he started auctioning off his Guy Fieri-branded pots, pans, tongs and aprons for the Boys & Girls Clubs, one guy was so loose he took six passes to the Cecilia Chiang tribute dinner, plus six seats at one of Fieri's Bay Area restaurants and passes to the forthcoming Los Angeles Food & Wine Fest this August, all for the pocket-change price of $10,000. Watching Fieri leave the room like he's Elvis, mobbed at every turn: priceless.
