Foreign & Domestic's Jodi Elliott Wins Food & Wine's People's Best New Pastry Chef

Congrats to Jodi Elliott! Foreign & Domestic’s pastry chef and co-owner has won the people’s choice award from Food & Wine for the Central region’s best new pastry chef. Her “quintessential dessert” is a brown-butter blondie sundae with dried cherries and toffee chip ice cream.

The competition was stiff, with other local Austin nominees like Callie Speer from Swift’s Attic, Erica Waksmunski from Congress and Kyle McKinney from Barley Swine. Another congrats to regional winners Laura Pyles (West) and Brian Mercury (East).
