Food + Drink Stops Along the CicLAvia to the Sea Route

Stop at WildCraft during CicLAvia
CicLAvia - the annual event that closes the streets of LA for bikes, feet, skateboards, roller skates, whatever you have that moves you - is happening on Sunday, this year going from Downtown LA to Venice Beach. The majority of the CicLAvia to the Sea route goes along Venice Boulevard, which means there are a lot of restaurants and bars to explore along the way, some even touting specials throughout the afternoon. No matter where you start or stop, consider this your chance to walk, ride and celebrate this big, sprawling metropolis we call home.

At Bigfoot West and Oldfields Liquor Room there will be $1 tacos, happy-hour cocktails and mocktails from noon-3 PM.

You'll pass right through Downtown Culver City, where places like the newish WildCraft Sourdough Pizza will be serving a special chile relleno pizza, plus other food, beer and wine specials for $4-$5.

You'll pass the Mar Vista Farmers' Market, where you can pick up some fresh-fruit sustenance, plus organic lemonade and iced tea from stands like Farmhouse Kitchen.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There will be bands, DJs and food trucks all along the route too. If you have tips on where to stop for CicLAvia snacks or drinks, let everyone know in the comments!
