The Ferris Wheel and Cracker Jacks – two American icons dating back to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. They are the inspiration for the new restaurant and bar in MileNorth Hotel. The concept replaced C-House, a fine dining focused restaurant. Ferris & Jack is about as far from fine dining one can get without stumbling into TGI Friday’s land. The menu features fairground favorites such as sausage trios, Bavarian pretzels and a soda fountain complete with root beer floats. More refined offerings include seared scallops with apple wood smoked bacon as well as apple cider-brined pork chops. In addition to the 64-seat restaurant, the space also includes a renovated lobby with barista bar serving Starbucks coffee, grab-n-go Marketplace and cocktail bar.
