Dining Out for Life is April 25, Now With Food Trucks

Eat a Spot Burger and you'll help a good cause
The nationwide fundraiser Dining Out for Life takes place next Thursday, and all you have to do to contribute is go out to dinner - or, new this year, stop at a food truck for lunch. More than 150 restaurants across the Delaware Valley are taking part in the campaign by donating 33 percent of all sales from the day to ActionAIDS, the healthcare nonprofit.

If you’re near East Passyunk during the day, plan to visit one of nine food trucks that will gather around 12th Street from 11 AM-3 PM. Your lunch purchase will also count towards the donations.

Look for Spot Burgers, The Farm Truck, Mac Mart and other favorites, but save room for dinner. Book April 25 reservations at Barbuzzo, Percy Street Barbecue, Route 6, Tashan or just about any Philly spot (see a full list here) and you’ll be helping out, just by dining out.
