Executive Pastry Chef Kate Milashus’ is back with another edition of “Confections with Kate.” The dessert class at ZED451 will demonstrate spring desserts such as a fresh strawberry tart, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, eclairs and chocolate banana cupcakes. Dose, the monthly market of food and fashion, has a special guest this month: 30 under 30 honoree Thai Dang. Embeya’s executive chef will serve green papaya cilantro and shrimp dumplings alongside mixologist Danielle Pizzutillo’s cocktails. Tickets cost $8 in advance or $10 at the door.
