Dan Pogue Promoted to Executive Chef at The Westin Copley Place Hotel

The Westin Copley Place
Dan Pogue, who’s overseen banquets and has been the executive sous chef at The Westin Copley Place for the past six years, has been promoted to executive chef for the hotel. The move puts Pogue in charge of all food production of the hotel, including day-to-day operations of the affiliated restaurants, menu creation and tasting, hiring and training staff, and the usual of maintaining food and labor costs.

The hotel's affiliated restaurants include Turner Fisheries, Bar 10 and The Huntington, the lobby's breakfast spot.

Pogue served as executive chef at Saloon Steakhouse in Chicago when Chicago Magazine named the restaurant “Best Steak Restaurant” in 2000. Pogue was also at the helm of Temple Bar and Grafton Street, when each Cambridge restaurant earned accolades.
