By doing so, you'll have a chance to win a $250 gift card. The contest starts today - each vote will count as an entry, and after the end date on May 6, we'll go through all the reviews (under 200 words) and pick the best as the winner. 1. Sorry, but your recent requirement to utilize Google+ as part of the voting process has taken this long-time Zagat voter out of the picture. Best of luck going forward.

  2. I agree. I find Zagat a very useful tool, which I have supported for many years. However, I do not want to get involved with Google plus. Google is pushing the privacy envelope too hard.

  3. I know Google bought Zagat - but the Google + requirement is ridiculous. So does that mean that the ratings/reviews will all come from 20 somethings now? Does anyone even use Google +?

  4. I agree with all the comments so far. But there is point of force-feeding with a social medium. Google uses it to collect data to mine through, with the further point of targeted advertising so you will buy more more more.
