Fast-casual burger joint Clarke's Standard recently opened on the Upper East Side, and the new chain is wasting no time getting the grills set up at other locations around town. In fact, the new outpost that just opened at 101 Maiden Lane would have been serving sooner, but the venue was completely destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and had to be fully renovated before it could start slinging patties. Like the other location, this P.J. Clarke's spin off was inspired by old-school butcher shops and offers options that go beyond the burger like hot dogs and chili.
