Charlemagne Opening in the West Village

A new European-American brasserie is opening next week at 679 Greenwich Street (at Christopher Street) called Charlemagne, helmed by chef Jodi Bernhard, most recently of Casa Pomona. The space which dates back to the 19th century takes cues from the Edwardian era and features reclaimed mahogany, original honeycomb floors and a restored tin chandelier. Vanessa Repice, who owns nearby Sel et Gras will own and operate. Food-wise, expect dishes like Bone Marrow home frites, pot roast and French bistro classics like skate meuniere and frisee lardons salad. Peep the entire menu below or click here for more info.
