  1. Once again proving that Zagat is wildly out of touch with what's really going on in food and drink. Well done.

  2. Excellent job. Portland Oregon is the best place in the United States for Food and Drink.

  3. Having been to most of these cities or equivalent ones (i. e., Saigon instead of Hanoi), I can only say that the reviewers are not serious beer drinkers.

  4. Agreed Bev. But at least they got Portland Oregon correctly placed atop beer cities in the US!

  5. Here in Bend Oregon, a city of 80000, we have about 10 breweries. A better per capita rate than Portland and her 2 million people!

  6. Portland has 30 breweries? Hey Zagat! Why don't you SEND someone to Portland instead of reading an old newspaper article? Last time I checked, Portland has over 50 breweries and climbing. And that doesn't take into account the Portland Metro Area outside the city. Get with the flow Zagg Zagg...

  7. Have to say, I'm very pleased with the ratings since they included Prague and Brussels. Excellent places to drink beer.
