This weekend the city is taking two nights to celebrate local Austin brewers and one day to celebrate East Austin farms. Naturally there will be awesome sandwiches, swimming holes and snacks from the best Austin restaurants to boot.

Meet the Live Oak Brewers
Gourmands is hosting an all-night happy hour with Live Oak Brewing Company. The party starts at 7 o'clock sharp, with Pilz, HefeWeizen and other brews for you. (7:00 - close, 2316 Webberville Rd.)

Real Ale Anniversary Party
The makers of Fireman’s 4 and other delicious beverages are celebrating their 17th anniversary down in Blanco this weekend. It’s a bit of a drive, but the beer, music and food will be worth it. And the brewery is right next to the Blanco River, in case you need to take a dip. Did we mention it’s free? (noon - 5:00; 231 San Saba Ct., Blanco)

East Austin Urban Farm Tour
We liked this event so much last year that we wrote a whole post about it earlier today. Hang out at farms on the East Side and eat treats and drink libations from the top restaurants in Austin. (East Side, various locations; 1:00 - 5:00)
