April Empanada Extravaganza at Cuba Libre

Empanadas are like little gifts, packets of savory spice and meat wrapped in perfectly hand-sized puffs of dough. Cuba Libre is celebrating these Cuban snacks throughout the month of April with empanada combos and a slew of new flavors, including fan favorite Cuban Curry, chosen through crowdsourcing.

Empanadize your Old City lunch by going with the mix-and-match platter: a salad plus two empanadas of your choice for $13 or three for $17. At dinner you can add them to your meal for $5.50 each. None of this would be all that exciting except for the fun combos you’ll get to choose from. Cuba Libre Empanadas
Hand-chopped chicken with corn and jack cheese
Ground beef with olives and raisins
Vegetarian chorizo with black beans and ripened plantains
Pulled pork with roasted poblano and charred tomatoes
Cuban curry, the fan favorite
Slow-braised turkey with sweet peppers onions and balsamic reduction
Berry with raspberry, goat cheese and almond
Arroz con leche brulée with chocolate ganache
