A Big Beer Toast to Tony's Darts Away's Anniversary

In the three years since Tony Yanow opened Tony's Darts Away, he's also opened Echo Park's California-only beer, wine and booze spot Mohawk Bend and, of course, Golden Road Brewing and pub. That's a lot in a short time, and all have helped elevate the beer scene exponentially around LA. This weekend the Burbank beer bar celebrates its triple anni on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, with special beers, including the release of Darts Away IPA, an Imperial IPA conceived by the staff and brewed with Golden Road Brewing.

Other special beers will be tapped throughout the weekend, including "vintage" and rare beers from Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, Sierra Nevada, Firestone and Stone. Entry is free, but you can get a first-taste of the new Darts Away IPA in a keepsake glass ($15), which also entitles you to early access to the other special beers throughout the weekend. There will be special vegetarian and vegan foodstuffs too, but if you want something, you know, unhealthy, there's always the Doughnut Hut.
