8 Anne Burrell "Anneisms" at Pebble Beach Food & Wine

With a little Burrell magic, you too can make ricotta cheese
Anne Burrell, from Food Network's Worst Cooks in America and Chefs Wanted, hosted an interactive lunch at Pebble Beach Food & Wine today, which brought several things to light: People LOVE Anne Burrell, and Anne Burrell is kind of hilarious. While we waited for our tablemates to make our homemade ricotta, grilled asparagus with poached eggs and prosciutto, and pork milanese - yes, them, not Anne, and all a la minute - Burrell entertained the room with dancing (like Ellen!) and witticisms, what we're now calling Anneisms. Here are a few favorites.

"Hi, I'm Anne Burell and I'm inappropriate."

"Prosecco. Definitely with ice cubes. Why? Because it's my wine and I like it that way."

"It's not easy being cheesy...no. It is."

"Cook with one hand drink with the other. That's what we call multitasking!"

"It's like an egg jacuzzi!" (on poaching eggs)

"My socks never match. Who has time to match socks in life?"

"You have the wet hand and the dry hand. It's like the Continental Divide. Never the two shall meet."

"I like a spicy pickle."
