5 Best Restaurants in Bucktown

Bucktown, that little neighborhood tucked between Wicker Park and Logan Square, seems like it could be where hipsters go to settle down. It also seems like a culinary jackpot, with the perfect mix of upscale options, neighborhood gems and dive bars. Case in point: The beer bar Map Room is two blocks away from the French institution Le Bouchon, and sandwiched between the two is Peruvian restaurant Rio's D'Sudamerica. And those don't even make our list of the top five best restaurants in Bucktown. See which ones do, and let us know your faves in the comments.

  1. That's not Takashi in the photo and it's funny you it's downtown since the list is supposed to be bucktown restaurants.

    1. Actually Anon, you are incorrect on at least one part. Slurping Turtle and Noodles by Takashi are downtown. But the actual Takashi is in Bucktown. I haven't been inside so I'm not sure if the photo is correct, but Takashi's namesake place is on Damen and has been for years.

    2. The Takashi in that photo is in Salt Lake City. So is the text. Not the Japanese restaurant in Bucktown. The next slide's text is from South Coast Sushi in the south loop, not Coast Sushi in bucktown.
