The Pocket Bakery Pops Up at Fortnum and Mason

As part of the iconic Piccadilly department store's celebration of British baking, Battersea-based The Pocket Bakery pops up in store from today until March 24.

The mother and son bakery started when Rose Prince convinced her son Jack to start baking bread to earn some pocket money. Today the fresh stone-milled bread is baked fresh every morning and for two weeks will be available at Fortnum and Mason. Masterclasses in how to make puff pastry and sourdough will also be held on some evenings. For details check the schedule.
