Team Behind Mulberry and Vinatta Projects Opening in Greenwich Village

Bespoke cocktail from Vinatta Project
First there was the Mulberry Project, a speakeasy-like bar in Little Italy that brought "bespoke cocktails" to the old-school hood. Then the team expanded with the Vinatta Project, a Meatpacking District haunt in the space that used to house Florent. "Project" number three makes it's debut this week in the West Village - dubbed The Greenwich Project, the haunt will take over the two-story townhouse space that used to house short lived Rabbit in the Moon.

There will be a lounge downstairs where patrons can enjoy the custom cocktail creations and the second floor dining room will dish out a menu of American fare by Chef Carmine Di Giovanni. Expect dishes like 35-day dry-aged lamb loin with curry goat cheese yogurt and diver scallops with salsify, morels and foie gras. Like the other restaurants, the rooms will be decorated with a rotating selection of artwork. The venue is having previews this week - stay tuned to 47 W. 8th Street for the opening next Wednesday.
