Sprite in the UK is getting an ingredients revamp, Coca-Cola announced last week, altering its recipe to include healthy sweetener stevia. The new formula will be made with a combo of stevia and sugar and Coca-Cola is exploring the possibility of altering the U.S. recipe as well. (The soda giant is rolling out a global anti-obesity campaign). But the new product will only erase 30% of the original calories from sugar so HuffPo wonders today - how much healthier will this new recipe be? And - is stevia in soft drinks the wave of the future when it comes to combat the obesity epidemic? Let us know what you think in the comments.
