Rhone Rangers Ride into Town
The cowboys of wine –namely American vintners producing Rhone-style varietals –will be convening at Fort Mason this weekend for their annual Rhone Rangers Celebration. The two-day festival includes seminars, wine dinners and the signature Grand Tasting, which offers guests the opportunity to sample the largest selection of Rhone-style wines (think Roussane, Viognier, Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre) under one roof. Get Cheesy at the Annual California Artisan Cheese Festival
Savor three glorious days of cheesy goodness at this annual fromage hootenanny that takes place in Petaluma starting Friday. In addition to sampling over 75 numbers of cheese, the festival will showcase farm tours, hands-on cheesmaking classes, cheese pairings with beer and wine and a cheese marketplace. Friday night’s opening event is only $35 a head and will satisfy all your beer, wine and cheese cravings.
