SF Giant's Game Opener Pop-Up Bake Cookie Sale at Waterbar

There are only 11 more days to the Giant's opening home opener against St. Louis Cardinals but the folks at at Waterbar are already thinking about a different type of batter. Just like last year, Waterbar and Farallon's executive pastry chef Emily Luchetti, with the help of her pastry gang, has announced she'll be hosting a pop-up bake sale on Friday, April 5 along the Embarcadero pedestrian promenade outside of Waterbar, with all proceeds benefitting Cookies for Kid's Cancer, a charity that raises funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer. The Giant-themed cookies, inspired by the team's MVPS, will include Serg-eos Sandwich Cookies (salted chocolate shortbread sandwiched around orange filling), Matt’s Bourbon Old Fashioned Pitcherdoodles (a snickerdoodle reinterpreted with flavors of an “old fashioned” cocktail), Pablo’s Pecan Nib Sandies, Buster's Chocolate Chunks and Cracker-Jack-inspired Bochy’s Peanut Popcorn Clusters. Assortment packs of cookies cost $5 per bag and will be sold from 11AM-3PM (or until supplies run out).
