Quickie Pickie to Become a Gastropub

In the vein of Whip In and other hybrid groceries/convenience stores/restaurants, Quickie Pickie convenience store is recasting itself as a gastropub with almost 30 beers on tap (many of them local). R.L. Reeves at the Scrumptious Chef blog has the scoop about the construction site, which will eventually be a full-service café on East Eleventh Street and Lydia.

The menu is being developed by general manager Troy Twibell (from the Purple Bean Café) and promises to be full of locally sourced food that pairs well with the many beers. Stay tuned for more details.
