Tavern on Rush got a makeover a few weeks ago. The bar now boasts a horseshoe-shaped light fixture fully stocked with bottles of booze. We like high proof art. The piece was designed by Charles Pusateri of C. Diesel Developing and Design, Inc. The designer is known for his use of construction materials as artistic elements to create sculptural instillations, his works can be found at other businesses around Chicago. The horseshoe weights 500-pounds and is made from hand-forged aluminum. Imported leather cowhides add a rustic touch to the modern piece. LED panels illuminate the curved bar below.
