Photo of the Day: Sqirl Cavatelli

These beautifully handmade mint ricotta cavatelli are a good reminder that Sqirl kitchen does a lot more than toast at the little hidden cafe. In fact, if you follow on Twitter and/or Instagram, you'll see chef/owner Jessica Koslow and her co-chef Ria Dolly send things like this, or "Lamb ribs basted in rosemary brushed barley honey. Buckwheat, rehydrated blueberries," or "Duck Galantine, icicle radish salad," plus very tantalizing photos. Be warned: do not look at them when you're hungry, unless you're ready to make a bee-line straight for Los Feliz.
