Philly Farm & Food Fest Returns With Private Local Booze Tastings

We’re a month out from Fair Food’s second annual Philly Farm & Food Fest, basically a one-day-only, gargantuan farmer’s market in the Pennsylvania Convention Center. New this year are a series of special booze sampling sessions in the Local Libations Lounge, and limited tickets are now on sale.

The main event runs 11 AM-4 PM, Sunday, April 14, and is a showcase of local, sustainable foods, and will bring together over 100 producers of cheese, meat, fish, bread, pastries, chocolate, fish, fruit, vegetables, herbs and more. Ticketholders can browse and sample the wares and take part in educational workshops throughout the day.

On the drinking tip, each hour from noon-3 PM, Libation Lounge guided tastings will be led by Victory Brewing, Philadelphia Distilling, Subarashii Kudamono, Frecon Farms and Dad’s Hat will take place each hour, and each one runs $15 in addition to the $15 regular festival admission fee. These sessions are limited to 40 people each, which is why we’re telling you about it now - head here to secure your spot.
