Our Austin: Burger Tex
A bulgogi burger? It sounds strange, but it’s one of the specialties at the Airport Blvd. location of this Austin staple since 1973. If a Korean-fusion supper sounds too strange to you, go with the classic cheeseburger and fries. The buns are made in-house, and it’s hard to beat a classic with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, mustard, mayo and ketchup. The fries are also addicting.
The décor is sparse (we prefer to think of it as classic, just like the food). And if you have room for it, the chocolate cake is surprisingly good.
