No. 9 Park Sous Chef Scott Jones Promoted to Chef de Cuisine


Scott Jones, formerly the sous chef at No. 9 Park, has been promoted to chef de cuisine of Barbara Lynch’s flagship restaurant on Beacon Hill. Jones officially steps into the role on April 4.

“Over the past three years, Scott has proven to be not only a talented chef but a true leader in the kitchen,” said Lynch in a statement. “I have no doubt that the team under his direction will continue to do amazing things and collaborate with the wine and cocktail programs to create truly exceptional dining experiences for our guests.”

A former PhD candidate at Harvard Medical School, Jones switched gears to follow his passion for cooking, taking a job at No. 9 Park in 2009 without any formal cooking training. Jones grew up in New Hampshire, where he loved to bake.
