|Nix's Mate in Plymouth is slated to open next month.|
The 254-seat restaurant will overlook the water with a view of the tourist magnet, The Mayflower, a replica boat that brought our forefathers and mothers to America. The restaurant with rustic decor (old wood, metals) will feature a large bar with TVs and a large, high-def TV, booth, high-top and table seating. It has a full liquor license. There will be two patios - one with a raw bar and regular bar overlooking the water as well. The patios add another 100 seats.
While the menu is American, it skews for the waterfront, featuring more sandwiches and fried seafood than its original Boston location. Lobster roll and lobster sliders are part of the offerings. Entree prices run $22-$28; sandwiches are $12-$14.
Nix’s Mate in Plymouth will be open daily, 11 AM-1 AM.
