Tonight culinary trade organization Culintro hosts a panel discussion on "reinventing yourself and finding success," with Georgette Farkas, The Meatball Shop guys and Alex Stupak. Tickets are $40 for non members and the chat starts at 6 PM.

Wednesday, March 13
The James Beard House will host legendary chef Jose Garces tonight, who will create a menu to celebrate his new book The Latin Road Home. The multi-course extravaganza starts at 7 PM and tickets are $170 per person.

Thursday, March 14
City Grit is hosting a special dinner to celebrate Pie Day (high school math flashback = 3.14). Chef Sarah Simmons will be cooking up a selection of sweet and savory pies at the event, which starts at 7:30 PM and costs $45 per person (beer and wine are extra).

Friday, March 15
To celebrate St. Pats, Midtown eatery Nios will transform into Lucky McCourt's pop-up pub. Traditional Irish fare like corned beef and cabbae will be served all day and can be paired with $20 buckets of beer and $5 shots of Jameson. The special grub and hooch will be served throughout the weekend.
Saturday, March 16
The New Jersey Wine and Food Festival taking place this weekend (at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ) and tonight the Grand Tasting will go down from 7 to 10 PM. Over 30 chefs will be in attendance along with 30 wineries, you can get tickets to this and the other festival events

Sunday, March 17
It's St. Patrick's Day - that either wants to make you drink a lot or hide in your apartment until the parade of tipsy revelers has passed by. Stay tuned for a comprehensive list of what you can do. Or you can just visit one of the city's many Blarney Stone pubs and get to work.
