New Mid-Week Deals: Lunch at Del Frisco’s, Dinner at Noir

Italian sausage over broccoli rabe at Noir
The three-martini lunch may be a thing of the past, but there are a couple of new ways to make your midday meal rise above average. For Center City workers who are short on time and high on luxury, Del Frisco’s has introduced a $20 weekday prix-fixe power lunch. Start with soup, salad or cheesesteak dumplings and follow it up with a hearty main - Maine lobster rolls and filet cutlets are both solid options (215-246-0533).

For dinner, take your time with a more relaxed - yet similarly priced - experience at the opposite end of town. Noir is extending the $25 three-course prix fixe that was so successful during East Passyunk Restaurant Week. From Tuesday-Thursday, you can choose from a half dozen soups, salads, apps, pastas, burgers and desserts to craft a satisfying supper that won’t set you back (267-319-1678).
