More Real Housewives Turned Restaurateurs in Beverly Hills

Vanderpump's Rules: Don't open a restaurant near hers/Photo: Bravo
According to TMZ, two Real Housewives of Beverly Hills "housewives" will soon have competing restaurants mere blocks away from each other in the Golden Triangle. Lisa Vanderpump already owns Villa Blanca and Sur, which starred in their own "reality" TV show, Vanderpump Rules, but now her RHBH cohort Adrienne Maloof plans to open her own 200-seat restaurant. But in the true spirit of Bravo and TMZ trash, Maloof is talking smack about how her restaurant will "blow" Vanderpump's Villa Blanca, which she calls "a disaster," away. Sigh.

Taking this kind of BS to the flat screens across America really gives a boost to our local dining scene, doesn't it? Not only does Maloof's planned 200-seat restaurant for steaks, seafood and a "celebrity-friendly" private entrance sound particularly mundane, especially in the 90210 which is fueled on filet mignon, arctic char and olive oil, but we expect the Real Restaurateurs of Beverly Hills spin-off (now with extra hair pulling!) to be announced soon.
