Mission Hill has a new Asian-fusion restaurant in the form of Mission Sushi & Wok, a sleek, full service, 42-seat space featuring zebra-wood, tabletops, cement walls and modern artwork. Sushi chefs are perched on an elevated sushi station that overlooks the dining room so that guests can see all the action.
The menu spans the gamut from Korean fried chicken wings and seaweed salad to rice and noodle dishes, udon soup, bao (steamed buns), sushi and vegetarian dishes. Most dishes are under $15. The place also serves wine, beer, sake and cordials.
Guests can dine in, takeout and order online.
Owner Christine Chan owns and operates The Ginger Exchange in Cambridge and Teriyaki Joe’s in Allston. This is her third restaurant.
Mission Sushi & Wok is open Monday through Thursday, 11:30 AM-11 PM; Friday and Saturday, 11:30 AM-midnight; and Sunday, noon-11 PM.
