Littlefork, Wilshire Launch New Weekend Brunch Menus

Littlefork's new Good Morning Burger
Just in time for spring, two restaurants with great patios will launch new weekend brunch menus on Easter Sunday - just in case you don't have enough Easter options. Littlefork, the new Hollywood seafood spot from Jason Travi (Fraiche, Spago) and Dave Reiss (A-Frame, Sunny Spot, Alibi Room), kicks off weekend brunch with $1 oysters and $5 applewood-smoked Bloody Larrys on Saturday and Sunday, March 30-31. On the menu, you'll find signature dishes like the maple eggs with crispy bacon, clams casino, Portuguese mussels with linguica and the lobster roll, but also things like hasty pudding with braised greens and a poached egg, and something called the Good Morning Burger, a linguica patty between two red corn panackes, topped with an egg with a side of maple syrup. That sounds like a serious new breakfast sandwich contender in our book. Saturdays and Sundays, 11 AM-3 PM (1600 Wilcox Ave.; 323-465-3675).

For the Westside crowd, Nyesha Arrington fires up brunch again at Wilshire beginning Sunday, March 31. Look for two options: buffet-style with an omelet station, a selections of salads and sides, fresh-baked pastries and desserts, plus an unlimited mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. There's also a smattering of composed dishes from the regular menu, things like steak and eggs, lobster omelets, frittatas with goat cheese and spinach, and French toast with mascarpone whipped cream and market berries. The buffet is $35 per person for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under. If you go a la carte, the bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys are $15 per person. Served 11 AM-5 PM every Sunday (2454 Wilshire Blvd.; 310-586-1707).
