Le Fooding, the publishers of restaurant guides and general arbiters of culinary cool, have dubbed Los Angeles worthy for one of its food festivals, and will make its way to MOCA for a two-day party in April. According to Eater, unlike the Brooklyn Le Fooding event last year, which was a series of dinners and tasting events, Le Grand Fooding Crush Paris-L.A. 2013 will be like an outdoor picnic with chefs from our fair city and Paris, plus DJs and graphic designers at the Little Tokyo museum. Participating from LA will be Nancy Silverton, Ludo Lefebvre, Roy Choi, Josef Centeno, Jordan Kahn and Chateau Marmont's Carolynn Spence. From Paris, the names you Francophiles may now include Jean-François Piège (Restaurant Jean-François Piège), Inaki Aizpitarte (Le Chateaubriand), Grégory Marchand (Frenchie) and Sven Chartier (Saturne).
The event takes place on April 26 and 27, and tickets go on sale in early April. Prices range from $50 to $125, depending on how much Champagne and backstage access you desire.
