Latte of the Day: The Little Goat at Little Goat

Saving the most exotic for last, Chicago’s number one goat cheerleader, chef Stephanie Izard, designed our last latte of coffee week. The Little Goat latte at her new diner is made with goat’s milk rather than cow’s milk. The result is almost a sour taste, not as in spoiled but as in flavorful. The sour quality is startling but balances with slight bitterness from Stumptown coffee. It gets an added dose of sweetness from a caramel drizzle. Maybe grab this one to go, because the new bakery and diner from the Top Chef rarely has standing room let alone an empty seat.
